Nicole Pham Nguyen, OD, is an optometrist based out of Los Angeles, CA. She practices at Southern California Eye Institute (SCEI) located at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, a nationally recognized acute care facility providing quality, compassionate support for Hollywood and its surrounding communities since 1924.
Her clinical skills include visual evaluations, treating ocular diseases, and contact lens fittings among diverse patient populations of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Nguyen has experience in diagnosing, treating and managing ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration in the veteran population.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of numerous reputable optometric societies, including the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) Professional Committee, where she served as chair of the California Optometric Student Section. She also volunteered with the See The Lord nonprofit organization, where she provided complimentary eye examinations and glasses to over two hundred patients in homeless and underprivileged communities.
Dr. Nguyen graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology. She then completed her doctorate training at the Southern California College of Optometry. Prior to joining the SCEI team, she provided high-level patient care in fast-paced private practice and academic settings, working alongside optometrists and ophthalmologists of various specialties.
