Dr. Johnny Pham

Dr. Pham is a California native from San Jose, CA. Dr. Pham attended University of California, San Diego for his bachelor’s degree in Biology. After graduating from UCSD, Dr. Pham earned his Master of Medical Science at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Biomedical Sciences. He completed his doctorate training at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry. After completion of his master’s and doctorate degrees, he completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. Dr. Pham completed externships at a dry eye/primary care specialized private practice in Seattle, WA, primary care/surgical pre/post-operative care at U.S. Naval Medical Center/Bases in San Diego, CA, a Vision Therapy/Rehabilitation clinic in San Diego, CA, and Veteran’s Affair Medical Center in Lyons, NJ.

Dr. Pham’s research interests include dry eyes, primary care, and has presented at Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology (ARVO) and American Academy of Optometry (AAO). Dr. Pham is certified to use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and treat primary open angle glaucoma.

Dr. Pham is fluent in Vietnamese and enjoys working out, findings new restaurants, and traveling during his free time.
