Dr. Brianne Woo is certified to use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and treat primary open angle glaucoma.
During Dr. Woo's externships, she focused her training on ocular disease and found a passion for helping patients with certain eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. She is also passionate about pre/post operative care of refractive surgeries gaining experience from her co-management rotation.
Dr. Woo is currently a member of the California Optometric Association (COA), American Academy of Optometry (AAO), and American Optometric Association (AOA).
While at SCCO, she was awarded Cum Laude for her academic achievement as well as serving at Co-President for Student Volunteer Optometry Services to Humanity (SVOSH). Dr. Woo was awarded multiple scholarships while attending SCCO due to her involvement in Cornea and Contact Lenses as well as serving as a peer tutor for clinical and didactic courses.
Dr. Woo was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She attended the University of California Riverside for her undergraduate education and majored in Biology. After graduating from UCR, she completed her doctorate training from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B Ketchum University.
Dr. Woo completed her externships at a primary care/comprehensive eye care military base in Tokyo, Japan, ocular disease/primary care at VA Las Vegas, pre/post-operative care/co-management practice in San Gabriel Valley and contact lenses/vision therapy/primary care rotation at Ketchum Health.
